Drugs - MDMA - Ecstasy (MDMA / MDM)

MDMA is known medically as 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine. However, its most commonly known as ecstasy.

Ecstasy is both a stimulant and a hallucinogen, generally found in pill, tablet, or powder form. Tablets may vary in size and colour, but in popular culture, is often times referred to as either the little white pill, or the little blue pill (confused often with Viagra).

Ecstasy rarely comes in pure form, thus tablets are often laced with LSD, caffeine, ephedrine, methamphetamine, PCP, or ketamine. Combining ecstasy with LSD is possibly the most common form, often times referred to as X & L or candy-flipping.

MDMA is criminalized in most countries, and illegal in most as well. Because of its associated usage with recreational drug use, and its illegality, it is next to impossible to be sure that the tablet administered or acquired contains non-lethal chemicals aside from MDMA.

Ecstasy may be consumed via oral, insufflation, inhalation, injection, and in rare cases via rectal insertion.

MDMA/Ecstasy is also known as any one of the following street names:
